Hi, I’m Leah

I’m glad you found your way here

Let's connect

Meet Leah

Our stories matter. Here is a little of mine.

I’m a life long learner, connector of people, and woman who finds joy in small moments. I find inspiration in the beauty of nature, the energy of vibrant communities, and the ongoing pursuit of uncovering my most authentic self.

I am also a certified life coach, licensed therapist, and couples counselor - and I’m so excited to connect with you.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to understanding what makes us who we are, the ways our experiences, relationships, and beliefs shape how we move through the world. That curiosity led me into the field of mental health more than ten years ago, where I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families. Over time, I saw again and again that when we begin to understand our story, something shifts. Things start to make sense. We breathe a little easier.

Over the years, my work has evolved from exploring stories to helping people transform through them. I use evidence based tools that help lasting change take root, often in less time than clients expect. Whether we’re using parts work to heal old wounds, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to release stored trauma, or structured relational tools to rebuild trust and connection, the process is active to create sustainable change.

With compassion, warmth, and a little humor, I’ll meet you right where you are today, while we explore together what it means to live and love relationally.

My Work with Clients

Early in my career, I worked in varied and sometimes intense settings: residential treatment, in-home family therapy, and community based mental health. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of how trauma, relational dynamics, and cultural contexts shape our lives. They also instilled in me a profound respect for the courage it takes to do this work.

As my practice evolved, I found that my passion was not just treating symptoms, but helping people make sense of their story and find new ways of being in their world. I have pursued extensive training in trauma, relationship dynamics, and couples work, building a toolkit of effective ways to support clients in making lasting change. What continues to inspire me most is helping clients bridge the gap between insight and integration.

The Heart of My Practice

Today, my work is relational, reflective, and active. Together, we explore the roots of what’s happening while practicing new ways of relating, communicating, and healing.

The threads of my personal journey, my clinical experience, and my expanded training with psychedelic therapy eventually came together to shape Coaching with Leah.

My approach blends the best of both the therapy and coaching worlds: insight with action. In our sessions, we weave reflection with clear, practical tools. I draw from evidence based methods and embodied practices that help clients heal in meaningful, lasting ways. Our work becomes a space to understand, practice, and integrate, so growth continues naturally between sessions and long after our time together ends.

At the heart of this work is relationship. Healing happens in connection, with ourselves, with others, and within the safety of a supportive space.

My path into this work has unfolded step by step, shaped by both my own experiences and the many people I have had the privilege to coach. Coaching with Leah is the place where all of that learning comes together, and it continues to evolve as I do.

My coaching work with couples and individuals is grounded in my clinical background and informed by education and training in the following approaches:

  • Relational Life Therapy (RLT)

  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy

  • Emotionally Focused Individual & Couples Therapy

  • Parts Work (Internal Family Systems)

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

  • Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

  • Sacred Space Holding

  • MSW: Clinical Social Work from the University of WI Madison

  • Licensed Clinical Social Work (WI, MN, NC)

  • Certified Life Coach

A Little About Me Beyond the Work

While I’m deeply passionate about the work I do, I also believe in living a full and grounded life outside of session. The things that bring me joy and keep me connected to myself are an essential part of how I show up for others.

When I’m not working, you can find me exploring the outdoors, traveling, nurturing my curiosity through ongoing learning, writing short stories from the best coffee shop in town, sweating it out at hot yoga, and befriending all of the neighborhood animals.

Curious to learn more? This work is about creating a space where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with what matters most. If you feel ready to begin, I’d love to meet you there.
